Here Are your Weekly Tips:

Tip #1 – Right Notes – NOT As Important!

One of my biggest inspirations to be able to consistently write these weekly tips comes from students of all ages!  Because if one student is experiencing a certain problem, then the likelihood of others experiencing a similar issue (if not exactly the same one) is pretty high.

One such issue is where your focus and attention is when you’re playing.  In the video below, I’ll talk about the practice process in the video below… if you’re more focussed on playing the right notes, then there is a really good chance that the rhythm, timing, and stylistic feel will be sacrificed.  You can fix notes – that’s not usually the difficult part (usually).  What IS, however, is the rhythm, placement, feel, and timing!  Focus on that issue first, and fix wrong notes later.

Tip #2 – Video…

Have a GREAT week!
